Welcome to KAT Connections Mental Healthcare. My name is Jill DeBarge, and I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of healthcare experience and a passion for helping individuals and families achieve emotional wellness.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of serving children, adolescents, adults, and families across a variety of healthcare settings. I believe that meaningful mental health care begins with genuine connection, trust, and understanding. Every person deserves to feel heard, respected, and supported throughout their journey toward healing and personal growth.

Beginning in July 2026, I am proud to launch KAT Connections Mental Healthcare, an independent practice founded on the principles of being Kind, Authentic, and Trustworthy. My goal is to provide compassionate, individualized psychiatric care in an environment where patients feel comfortable, valued, and empowered to participate in their treatment.

KAT Connections offers comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, autism evaluations, and ongoing mental health treatment for children, adolescents, and adults ages 18 months and older. Services are available both in-person and through telehealth for individuals throughout Louisiana.

Whether you are seeking support for anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, mood disorders, life transitions, or other mental health concerns, I am committed to working alongside you to develop a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and goals.
